MT5 Bridge — MT5Bridge

MT5Bridge is how MetaTrader 5 clients treat Obermind as their venue. It covers liquidity provision, market data dissemination and aggregation, and routing orders into Obermind Stream. It is not limited to pushing prices.

Two switches, used on their own or together:

• PublishPricesToMt5 sends Obermind bid and ask into MT5 with TickAdd. Obermind is the market data provider.
• EnableDealer routes MT5 dealer flow into Obermind as the execution venue, against your Obermind Stream liquidity stack.

Keep EnableDealer=False when MT5Synced already owns the dealer queue on another Manager session. Use MT5Manager instead when Obermind must route outbound to MT5 as a venue.

For market data:

• PublishPricesToMt5=True.
• Throw in quotes on the Manager login.
• An AltId for provider 96, with the same venue symbol string as MT5Synced when both run.
• PricePublishIntervalMs: default 1000 ms; 0 is unthrottled.
• PublishOnlyOnBidAskChange: default False; True skips ticks when bid and ask are unchanged.
• UseTickAddStat: default False; True uses TickAddStat with the session bid and ask high and low since the publisher started.

For execution, set EnableDealer=True only if MT5Synced is not already the dealer.

In production, leave Market out of LogType unless you are debugging TickAdd.

MT5 Bridge publishes prices to the MT5 server for every instrument with an AltId on provider 96, under the symbol in that AltId.

The AltId fields:

• Provider: 96.
• Symbol: the MT5 symbol exactly as the server lists it, including any ending, for example EURUSDom. When MT5 Manager, MT5 Synced and MT5 Bridge run together, all three AltIds use the same symbol.
• Exchange: the first folder of the symbol's path on the MT5 server, for example Forex. Import fills it in.
• Alt currency: the base currency for FX and crypto (EUR for EURUSDom), otherwise the profit currency.

On connect the log shows MT5: Bridge price publish seeded count=N. A count of 0 means no instrument has an AltId on 96.

Examples:

This provider has no instrument download. Import the instruments on MT5 Manager (provider 94), then add the provider 96 AltId to each:

1. 1.In Obermind Dash, open Instruments, select the instrument and press Update.
2. 2.Under Alternative IDs, press Add AltId.
3. 3.Choose provider 96 under Provider, then fill in Symbol, Exchange and Alt currency as in the examples.
4. 4.Press Save. A changed symbol resubscribes the instrument straight away, without a restart.

With several instruments selected, editing Alternative IDs replaces the list on all of them. Add AltIds one instrument at a time.

The publisher picks up instruments when provider 96 connects, so reconnect it after adding AltIds.

Register this provider assembly in Obermind Stream Configuration. The host must be x64.

The native MT5APIManager64.dll must sit beside the Obermind Stream process, or be set in ManagerApiPath.

Only include the assembly for the provider you are enabling on this page.

Replace the host, logins and passwords with the credentials from your MT5 administrator. Samples use fictional values only.

• PricePublishIntervalMs defaults to 1000. The minimum is 0, which is unthrottled.
• PublishOnlyOnBidAskChange and UseTickAddStat default to False.
• When UseTickAddStat is True, MT5Bridge uses TickAddStat with bid and ask plus the session bid and ask high and low since the publisher started.

Also configure:

• MT5Synced for linked OMS accounts and the dealer.
• MT5Manager when Obermind treats MT5 as an outbound venue.
